How to Install a Digital Signature Certificate in QuickBooks

Step 1:

  • Perform a Windows Search for QBW32.exe, which is placed in C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks.
  • In order To search for QBW32.EXE in Windows 7, you need to follow the given steps.

 

Step 1.1:

In case QBW32.EXE does not come up while searching, select the link for More Results in the Windows Search section.
 

Step 1.2:

Go to the Next Screen, select the Computer icon. Windows will perform a search in your computer.
 

Step 1.3:

Filter from the search results, select QBW32.EXE that has a Type of Application.
 

Step 2:

Right-click QBW32.exe, and choose Properties.
 

Step 3:

Select the Digital Signature tab, and make sure Intuit, Inc. is selected in the signature list.
 

Step 4:

Select Details.
 

Step 5:

Go to the Digital Signature Details window, select View Certificate.
 

Step 6:

Go to the Certificate window, select Install Certificate.
 

Step 7:

Keep on Clicking Next until Finish is displayed. Then select Finish.
 

Step 8:

Start the computer again.
 

Step 9 :

Open QuickBooks.
