Workflow Editing Options in SharePoint 2013

Following are few other workflow editing options available in SharePoint 2013 –

Stage :-

Bring your cursor completely outside of any of the existing stages to create another stage just before or after that stage.
It is a group of conditions & actions that are supposed to occur in the workflow sequence. Make use of descriptive names for steps for effective documentation of your process.

Else-If Branch :-

In case a certain condition is fully met, you have the option of adding several actions under that particular condition. But in case the condition is not fully met, you can insert an else-if branch in order to define processes.

Parallel Block :-

When there are several actions set to take place simultaneously but not in sequence, you can insert a parallel block. This will be followed by placing the actions inside it.

Views :-

When you are using Visual Designer, a button called Generate Stage Outline is in the ribbon located next to Views button. When you are dealing with complex workflow, it’s better to see the large picture view that allows you to jump to a specific workflow stage.

Workflow Settings :-

Simply go to workflow Settings screen
