How to Create a Calendar View in SharePoint 2013
We have already explained the concept of Calendar view in one of our previous tutorials. Calendar view enables doing following –
- Moving back & forth in between months
- Adding tasks to calendar
- Connect your calendar to MS Outlook which is a highly familiar interface for effectively managing calendars.
Having created and selected your Calendar view, it’s become easier for you to see all tasks that are spread over a specific period of time. With help of this view, you can very easily know all events that would be occurring within your SharePoint list for any date.
Following are the steps for setting up Calendar view on Tasks list –
Step 1 :
Go to your Tasks list. Next, you need to select “Create View “option available in ribbon.
Step 2 :
Select Calendar View type
Step 3 :
Define view as follows
Step 4 :
Click OK to finally complete the view.
