How to Review a SharePoint Document’s Version History
SharePoint updates the version history of a document each time any user makes any changes to the document or saves it. If you are away from the office and someone makes changes to your library document that are not acceptable.
SharePoint allows you to visit the document’s version history to review the various earlier versions as well as associated comments to find out what changes were exactly made.
Additionally, review versions of a specific document also helps you to discover what information was exactly published and is currently available to SharePoint site users.
Having understood the importance of version history of a document, let’s now go through the steps to review the same.
Step 1 :
Go to Documents library
Step 2 :
Click Files tab showing on the ribbon.
