How to Create a Standard View in SharePoint
By sorting, filtering and suitably grouping the metadata columns, SharePoint displays the list contents in a more personalized way. This allows you view the data in the manner that is directly relevant to your required information.
In this tutorial, we will effectively sort the Documents list items according to their review date to make them appear in the specific order as is required.
Let’s go through the steps involved in the process –
Step 1 :-
From your team site’s main page, select Documents list available in the side navigation
Step 2 :-
Click the Library tab
Step 3 :-
Select the option showing “Create View”. You will now get redirected to “Create View” page. You will get a complete choice of view types here.
Step 4 :-
Select Standard View option. Once the page refreshes, you will get to see various display options that are relevant to standard view
Step 5 :-
Next, you need to define the view as follows –

Click OK button. This will redirect you to the page displaying your entire new view.
