How to Create a New SharePoint List using an App Template
In some situations, it may be required to add extra lists to your site. Such lists deploy other apps or cater to your unique requirements. In this tutorial, we will learn the method to create a new SharePoint list based on “Announcements template”.
This list will be deployed for sharing project progress information.
Let’s go through the steps in detail –
Step 1 :
Go to the main page of your Project site
Step 2 :
Step 3 :
Select “Add an app” from the dropdown
Step 4 :
Once you are directed to the page with all apps listed, select Announcements App from the available options.
Step 5 :
Enter a suitable name for your new list. In our case, we entered “Announcements” as the list name
Step 6 :
Finally, click “Create” to save changes made. Following is the screen you will get redirected to.
